The Treestone journey began in 2009 at London’s historic Smithfield Market, where our founder started his career in the UK meat industry and became one of the first Korean entrepreneurs to establish himself at the market.

After years of hands-on experience and specialist knowledge, he acquired his first butcher shop in New Malden in 2015, beginning a new chapter with a vision to combine professional butchery, premium-quality meat and Korean food culture.

In 2016, TREESTONE was born as a new brand.

Since then, Treestone has continued to grow across London — from a single butcher shop into a growing network of retail, wholesale and food businesses.

Our journey is not only about business growth. Treestone believes in giving back to the community and supporting the growth of Korean food and culture in the UK.

The journey begins in the heart of London’s historic meat industry.

2015 — NEW MALDEN
Our first butcher shop is acquired and a new vision begins. Company incorporated: 28 February 2015

2016 — TREESTONE IS BORN
The Treestone Butchers & Kitchen brand is officially launched.

2019 — GOLDERS GREEN
Our second Treestone Butchers opens.

2022 — GREENWICH
Treestone butchers continues its expansion across London.

2024 — SUPPORTING K-CULTURE
Treestone becomes the Main Sponsor of the New Malden K-POP Awards, supporting the event from its very first year and helping bring together K-POP fans, performers and communities in New Malden.

2025 — TREESTONE WAREHOUSE
A major step forward in our wholesale, processing and distribution operations.

2026 — WHITE CITY
Our fourth Treestone butchers & second BBQ Kitchen London location.
Opening 15 December 2026

2027 — BATTERSEA–NINE ELMS
Our fifth Treestone butchers & Third BBQ Kitchen London location.
Opening 28 February 2027​​
